Record Restriction Event

We are thrilled to announce a significant collaborative event hosted by BlackPush, Inc., in partnership with the Black Voters Matter Fund and the Cobb County Solicitor General Makia Metzger’s Office. Join us for a Record Restriction and Career Fair on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Grace City Church, located at 4293 Austell Road, Austell, GA 30106.

Event Highlights:

• Record Restriction Services: Eligible individuals with misdemeanor cases in Cobb County are encouraged to contact BlackPush, Inc. for case review by the Cobb County Solicitor General’s Office. Registered attendees will have their paperwork completed in advance, streamlining the process on the day of the event.
• Career Fair: Explore job opportunities and connect with helpful organizations that can guide you with re-entry into the workforce.
• Additional Resources: Benefit from a range of services including employment assistance, food and clothing aid, financial literacy workshops, and voting information.

How to Participate:

Members of the Black Voters Matter Fund have been actively engaging with the community and invite you to participate in this informative event. Meet with members of the Second Chance Desk, ACLU, and the Cobb Solicitor’s Office to understand the processes and best handle your cases.
